Primitives, rustics and unique crafts

Picture
Historically, the little corner of the world that we call home was named Moderation village - where huge logs of timber would flow down the Saco River towards the coast.  Nestled in the northeastern corner of York County, Maine, the town on this side of the river is now called Hollis.  It is here where we live "on the corner" - and create our various handmade wares of wood, paint, stain, fabric, and clay.

Our unwritten motto is "use it all" and we often create unusual decorative items out of cast off wood that others might choose to discard.  It's not unusal to see a knot hole on a sign or primitive star that holds a little surprise, while the discarded knot itself is made into an ornament.

Here you'll find a varied mixture of items - from furniture to dolls, frames to primitive stars and signs.  Items are sold online through our Etsy shop, at area craft shows, and in the small shop at our home open from Spring to Christmas.  If you are visiting Maine, stop by for a cup of coffee and browse our ever changing display.  Or stay at home and put up your feet a bit while you browse our shop pages here.
